I live near Romsey and use Endel's vets near Salisbury, they have about 10 equine vets, so a big practice. I always get Bob Cull to vet horses, he's very rigorous (and a nice guy with it).
I'm at southampton university and have my horse at a yard in durley in southampton when I'm at uni, when I'm there I use Animed as they are literally just down the road - seem to be pretty well thought of and have been good so far.
I would recommend Stable Close or Liphook. I worked at Liphook when Malcolm Morley (now at Stable Close) was there. Either would be great for a vetting.
I used to use Endells when I had my two at my parents still. Used them for years for regular stuff and emergencies and always very good - Jill Carpenter and Richard Parker were great, Jill particulary when my boy had to be admitted for colic twice!!
I would recommend Seadown Vets - equine vets are based in Hythe I think - i've used them for years and think they are fab. Have also used Liphook and highly recommend them as well.
