vets near Luton

I'm making my own enquiries but just so I'm using all my resources . . .

Any thoughts on vets near Luton? To do a vetting.

icknield have a horsey branch in dunstable nearby - chris harris hes very, sometimes even too thorough tho - just checked and my friend told me its to far for him to come. Probably better off using icknield, i have on several occasions and found them very good.

Would second Icknield as they work out of Dunstable and Luton. We have been with them for about 20 years. If possible ask for James as he is head honcho there and very good. He can, however be quite tricky to pin down as he is always busy so he needs a bit of advanced booking via his secretary! Can pass on contact details if you need them.

Interesting that I'm getting very consistent replies. Shows how often people have the same experiences but because they don't talk they don't see a pattern.

Another one here who would suggest Icknield vets. Have used them for years and are very satisfied.

When I was there I used Icknield and subsequently the RVC, both very good. Icknield have just opened a specialised Equine Unit.

Unfortunately Thorston is away and I can't raise anyone else at my other possibilities. Grr. It seems vets are the same all over.

RVC are good, they are my vets if can though use one of the male vets as they are more experienced.
