Wonder if anyone can help with a question?
I use a vets practice specialising in equines and have built up an excellent relationship with one of the vets, with whom I'm very happy.
I had cause to call the vets for what I thought to be a virus (performance dropping off) and my usual vet was on holiday for couple of weeks. Not really wanting to wait so long for blood tests and a check up I agreed for another vet to attend. This vet quite rightly examined and carried out trot ups and flexion tests and thought more likely to be back probs.
What I'm asking is whether it is professionally acceptable to ask the practice to send my preferred vet to complete the diognostics.
Many thanks
