My vets have free visit zones on different days so I don't pay call out.....prob about ££80 I would think off the top of my head.....flu jab is £28:50, teeth about the same or a bit more if general rasp and no sedation required and just a basic examination is roughly £38 I think.....so add that up and times two....
Mine aren't at the same time so I can't think the true figures.
My vets a large equine practice, have a special winter health check which includes:
flu/tet,
teeth ( with sedation if required),
trot up(lameness check)
Heart/eyes check etc
Worm egg count.
£99 including call out.
So, would you say that I'm due another bill then as bill came through at £110.58. This appears to inc call out and jabs for two but nothing mentioned for anything else?! Or have I got off lightly!!
1/4 visit fee (YO tries to get them done in batches) (13 miles) = £10.67
Free examination/general checkup
Simple dental rasp = £39.00
Flu/tet jab = £40.01
So a total of £89.68 for one - I don't know if you would get charged 2 x 1/4 visit fee if she was visiting two belonging to the same owner? I guess so.
Did the vet just look at teeth or float/ rasp them?
I'd have guessed £30 ish for call out, then £35 each for jabs/ listern to heart etc. so your bill looks about right excluding the teeth.
Teeth I'd expect another £20 each
If you managed to accidentially call them out on a free call out day that might be the full bill?
