Just a quick question regarding the above, has anyone used it and what did you think good or bad?

I'm thinking of using some on my TB while her feet repair from being badly shod but I was a bit woried about allowing the foot to breath as horse is also prone to abscesses!

Any comments welcome

Thanks

Yes we tried it last year on my unshod shetty. My farrier applied it and we tried it twice but both times it never lasted beyond 2 weeks so never used it again!

I have used it on my unshod TB (although used another product called Equicast at the same time because his feet were is very bad condition) and I thought it was brilliant stuff, lasted around 6 weeks with regular hacking out.

We've got the CS version on one of mine at the moment, just trialling it. But its used with that bandage stuff which dried hard over the top. Seems great so far - pony far less footy.

Brilliant stuff. I think how long it stays on is dependent on your farrier. Our farrier had used it loads before and it always lasted until the next shoeing, never mind how much mud or water the ginger loon trecked through. No problem with thrush either, although it was occasionally a little bit whiffy when it was removed.
