Just going to apologise in advance if this question seems a little silly or obvious, I'm having a mind block at the moment

So we may be veiwing a lovely horse soon, but this boy is in Wales and we're not. We're fine to travel to him, but I can't say the same for our preferred vet as he is too busy to go that far for a vet check.
What should we do in this situation? Could we look for a local vet that would check him without us being registered?

There's no way I'm going to use their vet or not get a vet check on him, not taking any risks

Yep, you ask them who their vet is, google and pick a different one in the area. Then base it on price, reputation etc. you could also ask for recommendations on here. I did this when I bought my lad, I was in wales, he was in Leicestershire.
