Vetting a youngster

Would people vet a youngster?

Really like a nice 3yr old and am contemplating vetting or not. He is not expensive and wondering whether it worth paying for a vetting or not.

Didnt have my current horse vetted as had him on loan 2 year before I bought him and knew wouldn't pass a vetting so didn't waste money.

Any advice appreciated

I had mine 2 stage vetted. Some insurers insist on vetting now I think?

I had my 4yo vetted, 5 stage wasn't that much more than a 2 and it gave me what I needed - peace of mind.

I had mine 5 stage vetted as a 2yr old (tricky but sort of managed it!). As above, check out insurance options. Even though the horse isn't expensive, I'd still want heart and lungs checked out so perhaps go for a 2 stage? Good luck!
