I had a 5 stage vetting done a year ago and it cost me £222. I have no idea though what a 2 stage vetting should cost, sorry!

My friends a bit worried TBH, its a little palamino sec A, very well bred 5yr old mare
She's been out on loan (and still is till sold) for 6 weeks, 2 weeks ago she got kicked in the shoulder by another horse and she's slightly short. I rode her round the arena for my friend cos apparently she's meant to have been very green and too forward going. Thats why loanee doesn't want her for her wimy grand daughter. She was an absolute sweety!! The lameness wasn't bad but intermitant, I only walked and had about 4 strides of trot just to see if she blew up but she didn't.
So friend panicking that it might be a problem in the future, as she wants her to do top lead rein with
We''ll soon see tomorrow morning, hopefully its not an on going thing cos I'll get to ride her on till next year when she'll be ready for the little girl

Seem to vary wildly, round my way Oxon/Berks you are looking at £250 minimum for a decent horse vet to do a 5*
I had one done on a horse up in Scotland back in March and it was only £160, couldn't believe it!
