How has the vetting gone?
That’s reassuring- imagine a situation where a vet knew a horse was a wobbler for example, but didn’t have to declare itAnother who uses sellers vet…. They have to disclose everything they have treated.
That's how I read it too, if the "seller" is an agent, then she will have no vet records on the horse??I'm reading the original post as it's the Agent's Vet and not the owner's Vet that the Agent is reluctant to have perform the inspection in which case there would be no access to Veterinary history and Patterdale's post above may be more relevant.
Apologies if I've read this wrong and it is the actual owner's Vet.
All the red flags possible there I think!! hope you find something else suitable soon!I walked away from the sale because I wasn’t allowed to use the sellers bet, they also wouldn’t allow my own vet on the yard either and insisted I used a vet 40miles away when there are many closer. It came across as a bit of a red flag, and I really wasn’t comfort to proceed.
