I bought my horse last March after he passed a stage 5 vetting with the vet ringing me to say she was super pleased with the horse
He was sold as a level headed boy but a bit laid back
He was behind the leg but as a just turned 4 year old I did think this was just a matter of education
Roll on 12 months almost and he isn’t any better and I could clearly see when working he is short and lame on the left hind. He was taken up to the vets and lame both stifles and might require surgery. Injections are being tried first. I’ve gone back to look at the sales video pre purchase and also the videos of when we tried him prior to purchase and vetting and I can see (although it’s slight ) he is lame on that left hind. Views please bloods were taken but they won’t be any use as they are thrown after 6 months I’m gutted as he is such a lovely boy
