Poor puppy today had a nasty accident. One of the big square bales of hay fell on top of him as they were being unloaded. He came out of nowhere as it was falling. He yelped and cried so much, it was really upsetting. We rushed him to the emergency vets and they kept him all day for observations. That was the longest wait ever. He had numerous x rays and has broken his front left leg. He has now been able to come home but is looking very sorry for himself and his face is very swollen and he is whimpering too. I wish there was something I could do for the poor little dude.

lots of 'get well soon' (((vibes))) coming his way! Good you could get him to the vets so quickly though, so fingers crossed he will make a full recovery

Bless him, poor little chap. Gentle hugs and healing vibes on their way.

This happened to my lab once, he was ok but very shaken. He wasn't very keen on going back into the hay shed after that though

Keep your chin up, I'm sure he will recover well.
One of our old girls broke her front right at nine months, she lived to 14 with a metal pin in her leg, she could run and jump with the best of them, loved to go on the roundabout at the park and cleaned up at the BVA, children's handling and veteran classes.

Poor little pup. Sending loads of healing vibes to him. We had a GSD pup broke her leg at 8 weeks, just before her new owners were due to collect her

I kept her for a couple of weeks until she got used to her plaster but she healed very quickly and has never had any problems in her new home. She soon learned that if she tapped you on the shin with the leg in plaster it quickly got your attention
