Thanks everyone, I'm not sure it has hit me yet, I kind of feel like last night didn't even happen. I am just as shocked as all of you are, it came on so quickly!
SN, Nina came out to see her, then I had Lawrence (I think) and Alex (apparently quite high up?) looking at her with Nina and another girl + all the students. How bad did I feel at 3.20am when they were all wishing they were in bed and that that could figure out what was going on lol! They were fantasric in there though, not once did they moan about being tired or anything. I do love the RVC.
EDIT because I completely forgot the point of this post lol!!: Just spoke to the vet, and he said she'd had a reasonably settled night and that they will crack on with some tests now and talk to me again in the afternoon.
Do you think my teachers will accept me walking out of the room with the excuse 'Excuse me miss, just got to take this call it's my vet,' no?

Yes they will, they can put up with it!! I'm lucky as I'm doing and equine degree and on Monday I ran out of lectures with my phone ringing (vet) and haven't been back since
Everone understands though as we are all horsey. If it were news of a family member they'd be ok with it surely, non-horsey people need to understand that horses ARE part of our families!
I hope it's good news!
I think my rather scary English teacher and annoyingly sarcastic psychology teacher will have a different view on that, but I can only hope lol.
Thanks so much everyone. Blerh. I feel all disorientated lol.
I'm sorry for what you went through at Christmas HP, I remember reading about it and seeing how heartbroken you were *hugs*
Am currently trying to figure out if school would be a good plan or not, bearing in mind I have had an hour of broken sleep...I'm thinking not so much lol.
Ravenwood, *nods* I think I might just give up on animals and buy a pet rock!
Thanks again everyone! I really do appreciate it.
Dani I am really sorry to hear about this I have everything crossed for you and Gem. I really hope she pulls through this and the vets can get some result as to what is wrong with her.
All the best to you both.
Nope, nobody is at home. I keep thinking 'ooh I could go dowwn to the stables for a ride because the weather isn't bad' and then I remember Gem isn't there lol, silly me...
