Dont get too down yet, he's no-where near the stage of right off.

Sue is exceptionally thorough and will tell you it as it is. He's in good hands.

Loads of positive vibes for you and Jerry

Horse I was riding this summer managed a sprain. It had just a lump of heat on the tendon but with three days icing and box rest it came right down and went. Its a bit of a mystery how he managed it as always booted up for riding so he may have done it in the field. If the horse is a bit of a wimp (this one was) they seem to over react. The horse was pretty lame as well in a straight line. I used loads of arnica, ice and bandaged.

So sorry to hear your worrying news. I certainly know what it is like to have your dream horse out with a problem.

Dont get too down yet, J will need you to be strong and he is in the best hands with Sue, so who knows.

Keep your chin up xx

Really hope that the vet finds out what is wrong and that it is treatable. My friend's horse has just been diagnosed with a sprained check ligament, they scanned him on Friday and luckily it wasn't as bad was originally thought (he's been intermittantly lame). He is now is on box rest for 6 weeks to three months and then will start in hand walking.

Will have everything crossed for you.

Keeping fingers crossed for you that it is nothing that can't be fixed. I know how worrying it is as Ronnie is at Cambridge waiting for a bone scan for a suspected fractured back.

Horses. Talk about emotional roller coaster.
