Vibes for little Jessie please

This morning Jessie has had the full range of blood tests done again and actually got the results while we were still there. Which is excellent service and no doubt the practice changing over to one of the large conglomerates accounts for the improved lab service, so not all bad news when the local vets get taken over by the big boys.

The vet is delighted with her, she has put on another 2 kg and is now just 2.8 kg below her original weight. Her bloods are all slightly improved but they do not expect to see huge differences from now on anyway, it is what it is and probably pretty much as well as she is going to be. We just carry on as we are and no more bloods until September unless we feel she is becoming too unwell again. Jessie was delighted to see her and the nurse and receptionist, and lots of cuddles and leaping about which is much, much more lively and enthusiastic than we have seen for ages now so all positive.

Overall very very happy with how things are going and still no need to put her on painkillers at this point for her hip dysplasia. No more chasing frisbees though, it is all about conservation from now on, I know how she feels! 😊
