What a bad day, put my boy out at 6.30 am went back at 9.30 and the post and rail was broken looked at my horse and blood down both back legs he had rolled and got back legs stuck in post and rail. called vet, was out soon as, my boy has about 15 cuts to his legs and two bad ones , one on the hock right on the inside on the bone vet said if he was a tb with little legs would have broken them, but lucky his irish. i just hope no infection. his only 3 years old my poor little man.

Sounds nasty but animals have great powers of recovery, hope it looks worse than it is, some arnica might help with associated bruising/swelling maybe? Sounds like a thing a desperate TB would do to hurt itself, not an Irishman but he is just a baby. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery, glad the flies are not out yet
