Not mine, but I consider him one of my gang and I have known him for nine years, he is the same age as my old girl who has since passed away and he has been poorly the past few days, nether regions a bit swollen and sore (had my thoughts on this for a while :() and may be the big C, scans/x-ray tomorrow.

He is a super boy, very much loved and 'everyone's dog', a friend of the whole neighbourhood where he lives and big fingers crossed that it is nothing too serious x

Thanks x

It was the vet's prediction sadly :( my thoughts were that his wotsits should have gone a long time ago.
Told the boys many times about all the scares we have had that have turned out to be not half so serious so hoping it is the same for Monts.

Oh horrible isn't it !! Just hope Vet is wrong such a sweetie. Just old the grumpy old B'stard sitting next to me how lucky he is, he took no notice of course!

Hi guys, thanks so much for all the good wishes, vet says Monty has heart disease and he will be on medication with further tests set for next week.

Here's hoping the lads will finally start listening to me after all these years and put him on a diet!

Oh poor Monty, he looks to be a lovely boy, but I am sure now he has been diagnosed he will pick up once the medication kicks in and will be back to enoying life to the full :)

Just a wee update, Monty was PTS tonight, he was going downhill and then picking up so many times over the last few weeks.

Thanks for all the best wishes, he was a great dog.
