your famous vibes neeeed please ,my tb prone to colic been brill last six months and been out competing ect has colicked twice this week , settled first time very quickly however tonight became more painful que vets and pain relief , nothing has changed and was happy at lunch when brough in by yard staff ,only thing was he was wormed three weeks ago had no problems at the time .could this be a delayed reaction , had had a lot of watery faces tonight also !!, just wanting some vibes please x x

I'm no expert, but I'd be surprised if a wormer given 3 weeks ago would be the cause.

I'd get a worm count to check for redworm burden, this is common with repeated colics. Also put the horse on a course of pink powder, as its got pro biotics and is very effective. This is what I use for my horse who has repeated bouts of spasmodic colic. Its definetely a weather thing with him, rain followed by a mild period or a mild period followed by rain. It alters the structure of the grass and really makes a difference.
