Have just send her off to A&E after being chucked by Ash and trampled. She was riding up to the school on wide grass verge and he spooked at a purple bucket, spun and took off down hill - cant make out if he bucked or reared but she came off underneath him and he stood on her a number of times. Its her daughters 18th today too and they are planning a huge party on Saturday. Hope there are no broken bones, but by the look of the swellings, im not so sure.

Oh how awful

I really hope shes ok!

Hi Abbi x Its Lis who took the fall, shes from Cwmllynfell and used to be at the only yard in Ystradgynlais (if you know where I mean). This is her on the right with two of her daughters and Toby ponio ...

Yes I know them. She is too young to have an 18 year old (and the rest)
Have you had any news yet? Fingers crossed and give her my best.

Ouch, poor thing. Hope there's not too much damage and she makes the party. Keep us updated if you hear news. Though I don't envy her the wait in A & E if its anything like our local hospital. Sending loads of pos vibes.

UPDATE ... Lis has just got back to the yard battered and bruised but smiling. She has torn the ligaments in her knee and hand/wrist but nothing broken

It appears that Ash was napping at a scarey purple bucket (after 10 days off work) spun on his quarters and bucked going downhill where Lis was thrown straight over his head and he used her as a spring board to get back to the stables! She cant understand him as this is out of charactor, but it just shows that it can happen with our most trusted steeds!

She will be on later to let you all know how she is, and she would like to thank you all sincerely for all the positive vibes

That is good news. Though I understand ligaments can be just as painful as breaks and still take a long time to mend. Lis will just have to put her feet up and let others do all the work for the party! Dangerous things those purple buckets, a horse just can't trust them!

Eek, lots of good vibes for a speedy recovery! Thank goodness it wasn't more serious, although ligaments are bad enough
