Just spoken to her, they seem to have caught it in time and he's not too badly affected although still very sore.
He's on box rest for a month, on bute and acp for a week then the vet will come back to reasses.

Thanks Sam and everyone for your kind vibes. I have just herd from yard owner and Archie is settled with another load of ACP to get him through the night. It has been a very stressful day. Got to the yard this morning after YO phoning me last night saying he was lame THANK GOD she kept him in as when I got there this morning he could not even walk out of his stable. Luckly my Farier was in the area so he said he would pop in to see if he could do anything. He took one look at my little man and said it was the BIG L :-( . I phoned vet and they came out this pm. Said in a scale of one to four ( four being the worsed) Arch was at One. He said we done the right thing getting him out straight away as we managed to catch it early. He said if we had left it another day or so we could be looking at a compleate difrent story.
So Arch is on box rest for at least 30 days and on Bute and ACP for the next week. Vet will be coming out again to reasess next week. But he thinks we should see a diffrence in a few days. PLEASE KEEP FINGERS CROSSED THAT ALL GOES OK....

Sorry for the long post.

Welshy..........

Thanks cai He seams alittle more comfortable today the bute and acp must be working which is a good sign. This just proves that even though he wears a muzzle and is in from 9-7 ish every day you can still not be careful enough. What a horid thin Lam is.
