Tonight while I was putting some stuff in the recycling my 7 month old boxer pup escaped and ran into the road and was hit by a car. Driver didn't stop and she was on 3 legs with a few cuts and grazes. Got her to a vets where she's being kept in overnight on painkillers a drip and some light sedatives. X-rays tomorrow though they suspect she's broken her femur from the swelling in that area, so she'll be having her leg pinned if thats the case. Hopefully she'll be home thursday/friday. Can we send her lots of healing vibes please. I need knocking out as I feel so terribly guilty.

Loads of vibes for pups - my old bitch was hit by a car when she was a similar age and lived til 14 with a pin in her leg, right as rain, they do bounce back very quickly if treated properly in puppyhood so fingers crossed for her
The other was about 10 and had a dislocated hip but she was fine for another two years before being PTS for something unrelated.

And a plague on the house of the prick who hit her it was a neighbour who hit our two and she stopped but was too scared to get out of the car they had escaped after a storm blew their gate down.

All the good vibes possible for your doggy from me and pip. Our front door opens straight onto the A54 worst nightmare pip shooting out. Hopefully he'll be feeling better soon best wishes tho.
