little rescue dog had 3 epileptic fits within 30 mins at lunchtime. she's currently at vets for afternoon. She's not had them like this before with me-just the odd isolated one. poor thing, she really is an ace wee dog :(

Lots of vibes on their way. Have a very poorly cat myself at the moment, it's now a matter of when not if, so I understand what you're going through :(

we lost her, the drugs just didn't help, she never came out of it and I made the decision to have her PTS under anaesthetic this afternoon. She really was a cracker, so bright, naughty and funny. She'd been fine an hour before. Please go hug your dogs, cats and horses.

Oh no :( sorry to hear this, devastating that she was so young. Yes it's always a risk but you do what you can and keep it under control with meds; sounds like she led a happy and normal life until this episode.

Cuddling a Manchester Terrier and two Maltese as I type... Harder than it sounds!

thank you all-still finding it quite tough. people at work all loved her as she would sit in the drivers seat of my van and keep an eye on people arriving in the morning and they thought it very cute. So every time someone asks where she is, I have to tell them despite trying my best to hide in my office. She was just one of those telepathic dogs that seemed to know what I wanted her to do and would just do it (excepting the cat!) and I only had her 5 months.

I am so sorry.
That is tough, I had an epileptic Lab who lived to be almost 15 but her sister only lived to be 18 months. She had Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
They leave a big hole, don't they?
