In true style of reflecting and planning at this time, Ive made a video in an attempt to tell the story of me and the Winmonsters year.
Vid link here for those who dont want to read the sob-story!!

I was all set for 2011 to be our year (oh how naïve!) but in reality (horses do bring you back down to earth with a bump!) we missed several events due to family commitments, pulled shoes and I soon learnt that being able to do it in a lesson is one thing, but putting it into practise on your own- entirely another!! Our first couple of events did not go at ALL to plan, but we had other stuff to focus on so it wasnt completely the end of the world.
Had a bit of a breakthrough mid-summer, and I continued to improve from there onwards to finish the year on a good note!
Im saying I because Winston is an absolute and utter SAINT for putting up with me. I know I always say this- but he really has taught me so much but in so many more ways than just how to jump a big fence. Not bad for a 16yo windsucking TB with crappy feet!
Thanks for reading and watching.
