Ive taken off quite a few shoes but hitting the clenches up isnt that easy! Unless you are well practised at it i find i either miss or hit my hand!

I have always believed that a horse owner/rider should ask a farrier to show them how to do this. I havn't watched the video, but hopefully it will help.
