I posted further down about how pleased i was with my youngster at his first show. Here is the video of the clear round class that he jumped. This is the second time round (couldnt get first one to work) He had only jumped a double twice before, and never seen a filler!

Any c.c is vey welcome. (Go easy on me!!

Also would like to know how he is going for his age ect. He is the first youngster i've had, so always stressing about him!!

That was a nice steady round. His canter was nice, steady & rythmical, which is what you need. He didn't seem to get excited & silly, keep it up you've a nice horse there.

Very nice! He is a really lovely boy and that was a super round.
Only CC is that he got a bit long and flat in the second half of the round . Just need to collect him more on the corners, Think about breathing on the corners and just taking your time!

Thanks. Yep i know, you dont know how much i had worried about taking him! I know he is a fairly sensible lad, but i was worried the whole situation blowing his brains!! In the first round he was very wary, and trotted to alot of the fences, then second time round (the vid) he seemed to trust me more, and get on with what i was aking of him!

That was fab!! I agree with 2008 he got a bit quick, but nothing to worry about with a baby (better that way than shoving them all the time!)

He is abit like that he's frightened of things the first time he sees them, then not bothered at all the second time.

I just hope he is going to be carefull enough to do pure bsja. As he is very bold.

Its at aintree race courses new equestrian centre. Yes i was abit quick, will do better next time!!

Lovely flowing round and you both looked full of confidence, certainly lots for him to look at...he seems a great sort!

Your horse is lovely. I wish my horse was that good now and he's been broken 4 years! You've done a great job and you ride really quietly. Aintree looks wow. Far nicer than Southview! Is it as good as it looks on the video? I really want to go now but it's a fair trek for us. What's the warm up arena like? I always find Southview too small and busy for my big horse.

Hi thanks for coments. Yes aintree is fab, warm up is bigger than southview, and ring is big and airy. I have a few stills of the warm up, will try and post them. My older horse hates southview and we have never got round there! He likes aintree tho.
