I'm heading into my final year at uni and starting to pull things together for my dissertation. I'm looking at how people interpret companion animal behaviour. My supervisor is pushing me to include cats, but my focus and interest and work so far has been on dogs, so sticking to that for now. I need 20 to 30 videos showing dog behaviour. Everything from very obvious communication to very, very subtle, with other dogs, other animals and people. I've got a couple of behaviourists lined up who will watch the videos and give a qualified opinion on what is happening as I'm an anthropologist not an animal behaviourist. I'll then pick the most suitable videos to include in my research, which will involve people viewing them and giving their interpretation on what is happening. This is all still at the vague planning stage, but I'm on the lookout for videos now so I can start getting that side in place while I sort all the rest.

So if anyone has any videos that they are happy for me to use, please let me know. I'd really like to include some with different breeds, flat face dogs, collies etc, but at this early stage I'm happy with anything and can narrow it down as I go.

I’ll take some tomorrow. Pen keeps fixating on the pet lambs, it’s interesting and I’m not sure what the problem is but she’s trying to tell me something!

ooh yes please, that sort of thing would be ideal. I can tell you what the behaviourist says as well if you want.

I can try and get some of my gsd over the next couple of days if it helps? Especially out and about when she gets a bit silly about other dogs?

Have uploaded a couple for you - one of Purdey's trademark Awoo's and one when her Dad gets home from a weekend away. There is also another which may be too short for you but is my all time favourite video of her as a puppy when she stole a pair of my knickers... 🤣

Plenty more where these came from if you would need any more

The little blonde terrier is the cutest thing I've seen in ages! He looks a bit like a mini Falkor but cuter!

Thank you everyone, these are really useful.
