Just watched Balagur's Kur. I LOVE THAT HORSE!!! No wonder Alexandra smiles every time he goes into passage - I would too!

Ravel was good, but the canter pirouettes were awful. I feel he was perhaps overmarked? Anky and Salinero looked tired I thought. Hans Peter's mare is lovely.

Loved Balagur and Ravel (except the pirouettes).

Always like Lancet but disappointing music, that didnt really seem to enhance the test at all. Hope (but doubt) that she is planning something different for Windsor.
 
Cant stand Balagur's incorrect piaffe and I thought he lacked suppleness at times but he is fab and PINK which is most important

It was a shame Emma had some mistakes, it was a good test.
I didnt rate Andreas's test, horse looked very green at the level and was running, I dont think he rode it very sympathetically.
 
Why do you say Balagur's piaffe is incorrect Boss? I think it is pretty much the best around at the moment.......
Agree that he lacked suppleness in this test, he was better at the Olympics - same test.

I dont like to see the foreleg leaning back so far under the body, says to me that the horse isnt truly transferring weight behind as it's using the foreleg to maintain the balance.
