Views on "mini blocks" for pole work?

None at all because I am distressingly ignorant as to what they are?:o

Off to Google now.

Presumably to raise ground poles? I use logs with a notch cut out of them to raise poles, couldn't quite bring myself to buy a couple of dozen childrens potties which apparently do the job very nicely!

Found them :) http://www.jswhorseboxes.co.uk/catlist.php?cat=111

Aha! Both are very neat and tidy, as opposed to logs, which aren't, but then logs cost me nothing and I recycle them - in the fire! ;)

Although the Mini Blocks at 53.49 for 6 would put me off for a start, being a tightwad and all that. They look to be more versatile (height wise) and less hassle, than the mini pods which you need more of it, would seem, to vary the height. Pricewise Pole Pods are 25 pounds for 4.
