Since being clipped my horse is objecting to spurs. I usually use blunt end 1/2 inch spurs and have been using these for 18 months with no problems.
Since his first clip this year he has been getting really bad rubs from them and is very sensitive. Everything seems to be rubbing him, even his bossy bib rubs his back
I have been riding him without but I really need them for more intense schooling to get him to repsond quicker to the leg. He is going to the Prestige Champs at the end of the month so I need to sort something out before then.
I was planning on getting some impulse spurs (the ones with the roller ball on the end), but I have been told they have quite a long shank. Then I came across these.
Anyone got any views on them?
