Views on this horsebox... Would you buy?

Having not been plated for so long I would worry about the possibility of major work needing doing to brakes etc, ours cost a lot to get through its first plate, it had one when purchased, because of lack of use.

Would want to know payload before bidding and agree that having stood it is likely to need work on brakes to get plating (boxes don't do well standing for so long).

I wouldn't be keen as its not been plated for ages and you just never know. Plus I wonder if there's a reason behind the "timewaster"...

if you could get it for that price (it will go up though) and have someone who is handy with doing up lorries it is worth a look but it will def be a gamble with something that hasn't been plated for so long

it will need the rust on the wings sorted before it will go through a plate ,sounds like it may need a new ramp and at a guess =

it will most likely need all new tyres as they will be perished with sitting about for so long ,my box had been sat a year when i bought it ,i didn't replace the tyres and they burst one by one

the breaks are likely to be stuck and need work as well as other things the seller hasn't listed ;)

i always seem to think that if they have not put a plate on the lorry to sell at a higher price more easily there may be an (expensive) reason why :)

I would ask if you could view prior to buying, and ask if you service guy could come with you to see if its suitable for your needs. If not

I would be wary buying anything without an MOT for such along time. could end up with seized brakes ,rusted pipes fuel lines .
They will find it hard for someone to buy unless that person is a mechanic , otherwise could be an expensive job
