Hi
Have any of you used Village Saddlery (Warrington) to either check your existing saddle or fit a new saddle?
If so I would appreciate knowing your views and experiences - good or bad - pm me if you prefer.
Thanks alot

Yes, excellent. Lots of choice and David is very good, probably one of the best saddle fitters in the UK. Not cheap but definately worth it. I would never buy a saddle from anyone else.

just to confirm what the others have said.

He is not cheap but you certainly get what you pay for.I have bought two saddles from him, and he even came over to north wales for me to refit them (luckily they are amerigos so the trees can be altered ) when I changed horses.

He is very busy though so you may have to wait a while for an appointment.

I agree too. He sells quality saddles so they arent cheap but it will definately fit! Most if not all are made to measure.

I would recommend him too. Quite expensive but worth that bit extra to get the job done right. Bought an Albion from him and it's the best fitting saddle I've ever had.

I agree, fantastic service but very expensive and will not part ex saddles. Waiting list can be quite long especially in summer. I have used L for leather based in Irlam who provide an equally good service if you have no luck with david, just google them.
