Has anyone got any experience of/thoughts on this stallion?

Really like the look of him, only concern is because he's young and I can't find any competition record under saddle - would that worry you? Also I guess he's not a 'big name' if i had to sell the foal (though he does have big names in his pedigree). Thanks.

I've not seen him in the flesh but was going to use him on my mare when sense took over and I decided that I really had to stop collecting horses!

Volatis on here has the most lovely filly by him that did very well at the BEF Futurity evaluations last year.

my friend is going to pick up a brood mare whos in foal to him tomorrow someone on saddle up forum saw him at his grading and said he was fab and certainly one to watch out for in the future. He has been competing at dressage and getting good results as far as im aware.

thanks guys. i think in the end i may decide that although i prob like his type the best out of my shortlist, that results and comp record are too important for me (not his fault - he's only young!). oh heck, this is difficult!

The coloured colt I had last year was by Vincent II, he is stunning and he really moves, he was out of my Voltaire mare.... mat_b has already got him marked in his diary to go to him in 2010!!

Vincent missed last year competing due to an injury and stud duties but he has been at Holden Fold dressage stud since October to catch up on his training. He won his first affiliated outing and was 3rd at the next, trainablity is fantastic. His foals are of outstanding quality and they all get his wow paces!
I hope this is not advertising

Not unless you own him :-).

I really like him and his progeny and I'm really pleased to learn that he is being produced for competition by the Crane's. They run a super place (BQM :-)) and Angela has done a fantastic job with Mooiman since he came over. Being where they are they suffer a bit from the 'northern stud' syndrome so their stallions do not get quite the exposure they need or custom they deserve from the southern breeders, but with super AI facilities hopefully that will increase in the future.

I bred a very nice filly by him last year that won her dressage section at the East Midlands Futurity and has been sold to a showing home. Used him on my big Demonstrator mare and he did all the right things in terms of the foal was neat and compact (mare is quite long) and she had a really neat head (mare looks just like her sire).
All the mare's foals have moved well and this filly was no different. I'm looking forward to seeing how she looks this year
