Vinted riding boots box too big🙈large package

So I’ve sold riding boots on vinted, the buyer sends me a shipping label, the max length of parcel is 61cm, boots in box measure 65cm?!?! What do I do. Surely this is a common problem but I can’t find a solution using vinted help forum. I’m happy to pay additional shipping, but not sure this is an option. Please can anyone help an old gal out

Is it Inpost? If so I have sent many oversize parcel, the courier and inpost sort it between themselves and it arrives where it needs to go

61cm is the maximum length for a Royal Mail parcel. The width and diameter are 46cms however, so you could fit them at an angle in a taller/wider box and still get it sent as a medium parcel.

Speaking as a veteran vinted seller, you will be fine with Inpost, and in fact my local (and brilliant) Post Office have accepted many a slightly-too-big parcels.
