Greetings all!!! Thanksgiving week brings us a firmer release date of the study first round results.

I heard from Dr. Miller today....

The first round results will be coming out in the first whole week of December. (Dec 5th - 9th)
Remember that helmet testing will continue and more models will be tested and results listed as we move forward. I know that they're trying to get some more models done between now and the release of the first round results. Supply chain issues have delayed testing of some models.

Study of what specifically? Sorry not sure what this is about. Is a university testing all helmets? To what standard?

So the website that they used to gather donations was this

https://www.ehsi.net/

It's testing all helmets and they're using some common helmet tests (Derived from PAS015, ASTM, SNELL and other relevant standards) They are also increasing the test beyond some current standard limits to see how well the helmets do when pushed beyond an acceptable standard by a bit.

You can see a lot of valuable info in these 3 links.

The last video is from after a Symposium at Virginia Tech that I was fortunate enough to be invited down to attend. It was me and all the Helmet makers reps and many of our National Federation big wigs as the Federations contributed a LOT of money to get this study off the ground.

Sorry for the delayed response. Had a funeral yesterday.
