VirKon E

I'm trying to get hold of VirKon E to bathe my horse with but can't seem to get hold of it anywhere. There is plenty of VirKon S available, is there a difference or does anyone know where I can purchase the VirKon E

I'm sure i've seen it in my local tack shop but I haven't bought any for about a year so I might be wrong. In the yellow packet, am I right?

The VirKon S is in the yellow packet, not sure about E. It's the first time i'll have used it but it's been suggested for a skin infection. Think I may try the tack shop, just thought I may find it cheaper online.

Had a look at this site earlier - only seem to have the VirKon S. Does sound like the right stuff though so failing the tack shop, think I will give it a go. Thanx

Virkon is very strong to be putting on a horse.... Having said that I think Im thinking of Virkon S... Either way you can get it from your vet, just give them a ring & they should post you some!

virkon s is the new virkon e!
i rang them not long ago to check. exactly the same.
yes, you can put it on a horse, its used to bathe following ringworm etc. it does dry your hands out tho so rinse it off properly!

Also if you get the little powder packets.
Then for Gods sake please open them under water in the bucket. Not tear open in air where you can inhale the powder.

One lady I know uses this in preference to hibiscrib for her her arab's mud fever and says it is tons better. She then follows up with the aromaheel cream.

I work at a vets and some of our clients use it for mud fever
