Virkon types? S vs Rely On

Hi All just a quick one,

I need something to disinfect my stable with following our little pinworm debacle. I work in a lab and we regularly use Virkon Rely On at 1% w/v. Does anyone know if this would be suitable to use?

I have read that Virkon S is the one technically for animal use but from my understanding it is more about its efficacy against anything of animal origin rather than its safety.

I have Jeyes fluid but would only want to use that once he is out for the summer due to his asthma and that is 2 months away

I used to use Virkon E to wash down stables etc. I suspect that version is no longer available?

I had a quick google of Virkon E and all it brought up was Virkon S so wondering if thats what replaced it?

Yes probably so. More than likely the Virkon E that I sloshed about in for 30 odd years had something deadly in it!
