Are most/all viruses contagious?
This may seem like a silly question but I just want to check. We have one horse on the yard who has had blood tests to see if she has a virus (results not back yet) and another is being checked today as he has a very messy nose and a cough.

As far as I am aware, most viruses are contagious, but diseases can be either.

Double check though!!

I thought most/all were contagious but as far as I know the vet didn't say anything about it being contagious if it is a virus.
