Does anyone inject this? Discussing with someone the other day about long travel and competition taking its toll on energy levels especially if doing a 2 day and they suggested I jabbed it with some B12 from the vet as this peps them up a bit! Your thoughts and experiences please?

This was done to a few horses where i worked last year when they were doing 3DE for the 1st time as they had never had to be that fit before.

Did you think it made a difference? I had never heard of it before so guessed its use wasn't that wide spread, but then again if everyone is pumping there horses full of calmers they probably don't want a boost!

TBH i didnt see much difference but i was only hacking them out/lunging! I think it was given to just boost that little bit extra needed!

well, in the case of YO used B12 on one of the comp ponies at yard as it just needed a little pick me up...

it was wild!! very very high on life as they say

It was very fresh... and said pony was ridden every day...

Why don't you regularly feed Kossolian as that contains it, amongst other minerals and it is very often used by trainers as a pick me up and for mares and youngstock; it's been about for years. Horses usually love it and it's about £15 for 3.5 kg. Get it from your local feed store.

i jabbed my boy with it a few months back. his appetite was very picky and he was running up a bit light, hunting weekly. can never say for sure but i think it might have picked up his appetite a bit.
