Our yard is doing a big catolouge order, and I only have a day or so to write on the order list what I would like! (Hence the asap in title!)

Think I need to feed old boy a vitamin supplement as don't think he's getting the required amount. He has a 16+ mix which does have higher levels of vitamins in, but I am not feeding enough for him to be getting them so will be feeding a fraction of the supplement to copensate if that makes sense? Anyway, been looking at this catoulouge and found two that look good...

-Equivite original, lots of people on my yard feed this- 3kg, how long would it last etc?

-NAF general supplement, 1.5 or 3kg, any good? how long would it last?

Thanks very much!

NAF usually works out slightly cheaper. Daisy has been on several different supplements over the years, don't reckon you can tell a difference in the horse but both are palatable.

I use the benevit supplement from Feedmark. Its and all round vitamin and mineral supplement. It's been fab, its delivered next day no delivery charge and is not at all expensive.

Ive used the Equivite supplement in the past and horse loved it. New horse doesnt like the NAF one and wouldnt eat her feeds, very unusual for her! The Equivite smells a bit like baby milk, maybe thats why other horse liked it.

I also use Feedmark's Benevit Advance. Fab stuff. Cheap and free next day delivery. Got everythig they need in it.

Also use D&H Take Control for my dressage horse, which is the same but has magnesium in it to help with stressful situations and it looks like a feed balancer, so nuts not powder.

NAF actually do a Veteran supplement, which has broad spec vit and min plus also MSM for joint inflamation and mobility.
I use this on my 26 yr old retired dressage horse and it seems to keep him looking really well and moving happily around the field, bless him!
