vits/mins!

hi am am just wondering witch way or brand is thr cheapest way of getting vits and mins in to your horse reason asking is my horse does not get the recommened food she should. But i dont like blocks or licks because you dont know if they are getting the correct amount? any help thanks!x

Blocks and licks - the horse knows if its getting the right amount. Only thing is I don't have blocks in the stable as some horses use them just because they are bored.

I use NAF General Supplement, it costs just short of £10 for 1KG and lasts roughly 8 weeks if fed at recommended dose.

buy a feed balancer, i buy solid gold feed balancer, 20kg bag for £25 and it last me way over a month. very good stuff, any feed balancer is good, prince has a lovely shiny coat and generally in good condition.

I use Global Herbs general vits and mins for Genie as all she gets is a handful of happy hoof. Must admit that I don't give her the recommended amount, and use it more of a 'top up'.
