Quite far, she will swim for ages! I have to call her back out or she would stay out swimming for hours! Its a reservoir and they have pontoons on one side, she will spend hours jumping off the pontoons after a ball. We dont live near there now so rarely get to go anymore, we used to be there daily.
 
Well now I have calmed down...possibley saving my skin actually :o but regardless, being bad bad bad dogs :mad: We are not speaking.
 
Ridiculously incredibley reactive to another dog (all except Flora :rolleyes:) Was my fault because I miss judged walking time and we were walking back along road in dark when suddenly there were two people and another dog walking towards us (obviously as stupid as me cos also with no lights or reflectives and in dark coloured clothing...I did have light clothing on at least and my phone light stuck out of my back pocket) They were also walking on the wrong side of road so by the time I saw them literally a few metres infront walking towards us. Dogs saw them too and went ape (tilly is very heightened in the dark anyway) I crossed road to walk past but a car came so had to stop and wait, dogs still going mad but I just managed to get them under control and stopped them going mad and then for some reason the bloke walked across the road (infront of a car) towards us...well that was it Tilly went flipping nuts beyond belief, setting the others off, Ellie slipped her collar and went over to the dog then ran back and nearly got crushed by a car..............need I go on?! :p :D

Must have been scarey, good job you were not walking with me cos mine would have kicked off as well.:eek:. Tilly is a good girl, she was protecting you, what a stupid bloke to cross the road and come towards you.
 
He stopped short when she kicked off! He never said anything, I have no idea why he was coming towards us?? The woman was stopped with the dog also to let car pass, god knows why he was coming over to us?
 
the other wierd thing was as I came onto road off footpath there was a pair of crutches in the long grass by the gate! It creeped me out tbh, dont ask why. They went back that way so I guess they were theirs....but WHY would anyone leave crutches in the grass and go for a walk in the dark?! :confused:

Well DG dont laugh but I did actually come home and check mine were where I left them, was contemplating someone had burgled the house while I was walking and discarded the crutches!
