My sister went to Cuba yesterday and left our presents under the tree, she told me there was chocolate in amongst pressies, so to save my dogs from eating it (I unwrapped the choc, from mine and OH and ate it) nom nom, thorntons santa and reindeer LMAO:D:D I will do the same with all the presents to save my doggies getting ill:rolleyes:

On a serious note, please take extra care this Xmas with chocolate and your doggies, esp if you have thieving lurchers like me and Vizzy:D

Oh Cayla you are such a caring dog owner!! Just after Vizslaks incident I went out and then realised I had left a whole stack of Hotel Chocolat stuff on the kitchen counter. I broke so may speed limits driving home...thankfully my well behaved (very unusual) hounds had not touched it.

LOl, Frankie, I think that sit he one and only reason mine dont get chocolate, cos I eat it first, even the stuff I buy for others, I tend to eat and replace it 10 times over:o

Lol Matilda, I can imagine your panick:D but again, I woulf have eaten it b4 I left, even if it where for someone else:o:D

I've made a difference too! Although my furry Sable Spangle does not appear interested in chocolate (unless it's covering a mouse or two) I have taken it upon myself to rid the flat of chocolate in case a pooch goes awol in my flat :o

There is now no chocolate within a two mile radius of here, thought it best to be thorough. :D

My MIL has just today given me some chocolate decorations to put on the Christmas tree - with two thieving skinny dogs in the house i would be mad to even attempt putting them on the poor tree  i can't even imagine the resulting carnage   so I'm about to make the ultimate sacrifice and scoff the lot :D
