Volunteering - do you? Would you?

This year I have helped at Oasby, Southwell, Shelford Manor, Lincolnshire, Burgie and Bishop Burton. All good fun!

We compete unaffiliated but we do fence judge BE at Eland Lodge twice a year. We see it as a lovely day out, doing something together that we both enjoy. Its also good to see how the riders tackle the fences.

welton is not to far down the road for me!

Burgie is a bit out of sync with the rest of them as I went up north to see some relatives!

I volunteer for our local Pony Club, I also do their website for them.

I volunteered my services to BE this year, but felt (as I haven't been in touch with hores for 5 years) that I should first get some more experience so will be looking to help next year, especially as Ted won't be ready to compete possibly till the season after

No!
I jump judged this year at a unaff HT. I was press ganged into it, I didn't know anyone and no one said thank you or considered me worth talking to or replying to any of my questions.
I can only watch a 2ft log being jumped once.
I would do affiliated but the nearest one is 80 miles away.
