Volunteering Grenada

A friend of mine in Grenada is looking for volunteers on his Stables and farm. Accommodation included. Royan Smith who owns the farm also offers island tours so needs some extra help with the horses. Would be a fantastic opportunity for someone on a gap year.
Royan's Stables are the only ones on the island!

Agree with above. Plus I am sorry to say that I don't really see why anyone would be essentially offering to work for free in a for-profit business?

Not uncommon for someone young to work for a for-profit business in exchange for accommodation and food but not pay - especially in an 'exotic' location.

I have been to Grenada a couple of times, and loved the island. I did once go for a ride there and it was not well organised, but that aside, there are a lot of people in Grenada so not sure why they need to recruit from the other side of the Atlantic?

Because somebody local would want paying.

I have looked at a few of the horses/photos on FB, not sure it is somewhere that I would want to volunteer at.
