Has anyone ever done any voluntary work for Greatwood, or other similar places? If so, what kinds of things did you have to do, and how much time were you asked to commit to it?

I did some dressage writing at Chatsworth Horse Trials and loved it! I was there from about 10am til 4pm but learnt a lot and got to watch some lovely horses. Would definately recommend it.

How did you go about it - did you email the organisers, or did you know someone involved with the event? I just have many summer weeks ahead of me (with few extra hours at work, sadly
) so I'd like to put my time to good use

If you really want to volunteer for BE, contact the organisers of your local event directly. We usually keep lists of previous volunteers and only contact BE for the volunteer list once these are exhausted.

Barbury is on my doorstep
Literally about 10 minutes away
But I am at work on Saturdays, so would only be available to help on weekdays
