Hi all,
I'm wondering if any of you out there with horses that have had or have ulcers/upset tummies would be interested in trying out a GI healthy treat I've made? My guy was diagnosed with some serious ulcers which have been treated, but that got me thinking that I'd like to be feeding him treats which were part of his no sugar no cereal grain diet and that also contained ingredients to soothe his tummy. In any case I'm a bit of a geek (and also a scientist
) so I mixed up some treats that only have soothing ingredients in them, figured out how to make them into a biscuit etc etc and tested them out on him. He seems to really like them as do the horses at the yard I've given them to.
But I'd be interested to see if horses generally find them tasty or if mine is just a piggy for any treat??!! So I'm looking for people that would like to test them out. I'd be happy to send some to anyone who is interested. Just send me a PM with your details. I'd just like some feedback as to whether or not your horse likes them. I've done two flavours: mint and fenugreek.
