Vote for Gallant who saved his rider

I have voted for Gallant, but only after finding this other page where I could read what the other dogs had done Dogs Trust Honours 2013: Vote for your Hero Pet and Hero Service Dog in top awards.
Hm, Gypsie the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is in the lead with 44% against Gallants 30% when I had voted, so I hope a lot of HHO:ers agrees with us.

By the way, I also voted for Melvin O’Dowd's Alice the Labrador, but she's on third place with 27%, I wonder who will win this category, both Atraya the Newfoundland and Fern the Spaniel had 30%.

But I also wonder if this thread will be allowed to stay in the Tack Room or not? It is about a rider that was injured in a fall, but also about that a dog saved her , time will tell the answer I suppose.

I voted too, I always wonder what would happen if i came off out hacking, I always have my dog with me but I don't think she would leave me. I'd be more likely to be found due to my horse turning up at home and standing outside the front door waiting to be untacked without me.
