Does anyone like them??
I bought one several years ago for my little WB mare, but she died last summer. I got a slightly bigger one for my ISH mare and it is fab. So I am selling my lovely 17 inch Jeffries VSD MW saddle - what sort of price should I be looking for? It is superb condition, black and perfecto....I paid 900 quid for it!!!!

Not my cup of tea but im pure dressage anyway soooo

Saddles dont seem to hold much value on the second hand market. Not sure on the price but i think you'll lose a fair bit on it

I'm not keen either - you need either one or the other I think.

I reckon it would keep it's price quite well though - mu mum swapped hers which was about 4 yrs old (well used) and £400 for a nearly new Albion jumping saddle - so I would say it's worth about £500 at least?

our saddler was really keen on mums saddle for some reason, said it was a good size I think and that VSD's are popular, so still hope for ya!

I have one and it was useful for Working Hunter showing - straighter cut than a GP so shows off the shoulder better, but has knee rolls so good and stable for the jumping section...

Saying that, I tried to sell mine, and its in really good nick and its a Kings, walsall made etc and they are £700 new, and got offered £200 - I was mortally offended!

I bought the same Jeffries saddle brand new earlier this year and looked into how much it would sell for when I was planning to sell Sam. Most that were up to a year old and in good condition were selling for about £650-750.
