AM having my first lesson in about 3 years in the new year with the dressage trainer at yard where Jack is with a friend who has just had a back op!!
I'm so nervous tho, he is a wicked instructor but it has been so long!!

I have just started lessons with a good instructor and I'm making sure that I enjoy it and make the most of every minute out there!!!!!!.......so don't let the nerves get you.....and relax!!!

Might leave it a while before I ring up actually......

Good luck to you though Happyhack, with any luck those nerves will be unfounded and you'll have a great time

Remember staring lessons again after a long break and feeling totally the same!

I'm sure your instructor will put you at ease from the very beginning, you'll have a great time!

I look forward to reading your giddy post telling us how well it went!

Just enjoy it - you will be fine, its like riding a bike you never forget!

I started to have lessons with an event rider and I was very nervous as I had not had lessons since I was learning to ride at a riding school which was many years ago..

I made a joke out of it saying I have not had lessons for years, and she made it such a nice experince for me and the horse.

You will be fine.xx

Who is the dressage trainer?

Say hello to Jack!

I *KNOW* I should stop being so bloomin wussy about it,but it's been years since I last had a lesson, and I *know* I have so many faults that I'll probably end up on a video showing exactly how NOT to ride
