Wahl Stable Pro Horse Clippers

I have them. Amazingly quiet. I've clipped nervous horses with them. Only ever done up to blanket clip in various coat types. The blades aren't very wide so may take a while to do such a major clip. I rate them- had them 4 years and they still run well.

Depends on your horses coat. They wouldn't be any good for my welsh D, but a girl previously on our yard, had a set for her wee TB and they flew through his coat

I bought some a few years ago and they were utter crap. Sent them back to Wahl for checking, they said they were fine (they weren't).

They worked a bit better after I threw them on the floor in temper! ;-)

So then they gathered dust in my tackroom for a few years, and I later sold them on eBay, with the description that they were rubbish, amazingly, got a good price for them.

I hope they've improved the design.

(A friend of mine had a set too, and hers wouldn't clip her TB's). Mine wouldn't clip ponies, so what sort of horse were they supposed to clip?

I would never buy wahl again. Total rubbish and when you do send them back they always say they are fine. They are not upto the job at all. I would look at liveryman or wolsleys.
