waiting for liver biopsy results

And I'm not very patient! Mare has had ongoing raised liver enzymes, thought we were on top of it but she's gone down hill again. She's always been very laud back but she's now lethargic, lost weight and on and off depressed. Biopsy was done on Monday and got until next Monday to wait!

Anyone had a liver biopsy done? What was the outcome? Many thanks.

I've had biopsies done on three different horses over the years. Unfortunately for two of them (who are no longer with us) it turned out to be a malignant tumour but fortunately for the third it turned out to be non- threatening.
